L’Observatoire

l’Observatoire is a special space dedicated to being both an artist studio and an education space. Experiments happen side-by side as the space gets occupied by different people each day. There are different rhythms, as students walk into their weekly class noticing changes in the space from the previous week.

Sandwiched between a Reggio-Emilio pre-school and a French pre-school means there is a large scope for collaboration with young enquiring minds. Scientific enquiery as well as deliberate observation is encouraged from the young visitors.

This is also the studio where my projects happen, from making Buang’s microscope to building the Wunderkammera Obscura.
