Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder. 25cm x 25cm x 5cm. Recycled light fixture, acrylic sheet, sticker, LED. 2010 - 2011
“Diverting a light fixture and a lab microphotograph, I have re-created an imaginary eye. The piece plays on the popular notion that light must come from the eye to create vision.”
Technically, this is my last artwork of 2011, having been completed on the 30th of December. It will be auctioned on the 8th of January with other artists’ work to raise money for funding the production of Open House! 2012, taking place in Tiong Bahru this year… If you like it, why don’t you make a date?
